Maravagi Resort
Maravagi is a simple hideaway retreat with stunning surf, fishing, scuba diving, seaside scenery, warm hospitality and excellent cooking.
The Maravagi Resort is situated on the waterfront in a small bay on Mangalonga (or Mana) Island in the north west of the Florida Islands (one hour by boat ride east of Honiara). The picturesque bay that is shielded from the south-east trade winds and the area adjacent the resort is a protected marine area with many small islands, extensive reef systems and deep passages ensuring abundant marine life.
The resort caters for eco tourists, surfers and fisherman.
The fish rich waters and reefs draw divers and eco-travellers from around the world. Dive ship operators, such as Invader, and cruise ships moor at Maravagi to experience cultural activities such as the local pipe bands.
